Dikhiya vi ho jaye sukhlla je oh rab nun jaan laye;
Maya da rang charh nahin sakda jo rab da rang maan laye. Bhul jaye nirankar nun jehrha jamda marda rehnda ey; Dukkhan de vich ghirya hoya haay haay kurlanda ey. Haumain de vich bajhda janda jyon jyon karam kamanda ey; Kahe avtar poora gur bhete taan oh sehaj samaanda ey. |

Even a man in distress finds relief, if he realizes God.
Once he enjoys the divine bliss, the glamour of worldly wealth cannot allure him. The one who forgets the Formless God, he undergoes the cycle of birth and death; Surrounded by miseries, he groans and bewails. As he goes on following religious practices, he gets more and more entangled in ego, Avtar says, he integrates with God, if he meets the True Master. |
Meaning
All the worries are gone and one finds peace after realization of God. Once he enjoys the divine bliss, the worldly wealth cannot attract him. The one who forgets God, he goes into the cycle of birth and death. Surrounded by miseries, he keeps moaning. As he goes on following religious practices, he starts feeling more superior and egoistic. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, his condition stabilizes only when he meets the True Master.
